2024 Grant Cycle Opens August 11th
The TAAFA grant has been established to support Latina artists who exemplify the meaning of “building bridges through the arts…” Trinidad Aguirre-Armenta was working mother, a wife, and a proud Latina woman. After her retirement, she used that time as an opportunity to become an accomplished pianist, artist, college student and supportive community member. The TAAFA Grant was created to honor the life well lived of Trinidad Aguirre-Armenta and to encourage the tenets of her life: community, generosity, sharing knowledge and creativity.
TAAFA is focused on "building bridges through art."
